I’ve spent my life putting “the rubber on the road”. Riding bikes and running have both been a literal expression of that and has lead to competing all over the world and competing at the highest level. There have been tremendous wins and some bittersweet losses. I’ve fostered friendships and created many memorable stories simply by pedaling or running. My miles of training and racing led to creating a small business selling footwear and coaching high schoolers to go after their own running goals.

While riding and running are passions of mine I believe that there is a bigger picture to putting the “rubber on the road”. Just like training to ride better or run faster requires an application of tires or shoes on the tarmac there is a need to apply and live our faith in Jesus to the world in a practical, authentic, and receivable way. I say that to those of you that know Jesus already and to those that know nothing of Him. My motivation writing and creating content is not to tell my story; it’s to encourage you to tell your always evolving story to others in a way that points back to our Creator. You were born with a purpose and a passion; I’ve learned mine is not to just run and ride as quickly as I can; It’s to put the rubber on the road in all aspects of my life. It’s to apply my faith in my life, my pursuits, and in all of my relationships.

I hope you enjoy my site and are encouraged by the words that flow from the road, onto a screen, and hopefully into your heart.
